“ABBY’S BETTER GIVES BACK” TO ATRIUM HEALTH LEVINE CANCER INSTITUTE IN TANDEM WITH NATIONAL HEALTH QUALITY WEEK
Abby’s Better is proud to announce that from Sunday, October 18 to Sunday, October 31, $1 from every jar of its clean-label nut butters sold online will go to support the Head and Neck Cancer Care division at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute.
This “Abby’s Better Gives Back” campaign was established to support the work of Dr. Zvonimir Milas, who led the treatment of Anna Kircher – Abby’s Better COO and mother of Abby’s Better founder Abby Kircher. Dr. Milas treated Anna during the summer of 2018. Levine Cancer Institute is home to top providers, cutting-edge treatments and groundbreaking clinical trials across the Carolinas.
“This give back campaign is our small token of gratitude for all Dr. Milas and his team have done for my mom,” said Abby Kircher, Abby’s Better Founder. “The donation will help fund the continued quality, high-touch care and attention that the Head and Neck Cancer Care team provides to not only its patients, but also to the families who turn to the center for treatment. During such a difficult time with so many unknowns, all you can hope for is a doctor who is as helpful and encouraging as Dr. Milas. Since meeting him, Dr. Milas has been an invaluable source of comfort for our entire family as he helps us navigate my mom’s ongoing care.”
“With philanthropic support from Abby’s Better, Levine Cancer Institute will continue to advance essential research, education, outreach and patient support services that will move medical science forward and lead to novel treatments and therapies associated with head and neck cancer care at LCI,” shared Dr. Zvonimir Milas.
