This 15-Year-Old Turned Her Passion For Healthy Eating Into A Thriving Business

Abby Kircher started her first company when she was just 15 years old. Now, two years later, Abby's Better Nut Butter already has expanded significantly. Initially sold at farmer’s markets for a total of $4,000 in sales, the company has since achieved sales of $80,000. So far in 2017,  the line of six naturally-sweetened, uniquely flavored nut butters has seen 400% growth through distribution in grocery store chains and independent retailers across the South, East Coast and Midwest. As it has grown, the Charlotte-based business has become a family affair, involving Kircher’s parents, brothers and grandparents, all of whom are eager to help her turn her entrepreneurial dreams into reality.
