Date Pecan Cake Donuts - V / PF

Donuts with DATE PECAN?? Wait, what??

Yes, you heard me right. The most magical combo EVER has now been created. You're welcome.

I have always loved donuts (but seriously, who doesn't?), any kind of donut. To me, there are few things better than biting into a fresh, crispy frosted donut when you want something sweet (which for me, is about always). However, these days donut shops aren't very common, and can be very expensive. Also, what about vegan, gluten-free, or low sugar options? What is I don't want to feel sick afterwards?Seems impossible to find.

These Date Pecan Cake Donuts are the perfect texture - thick and fluffy - and WON'T leave you feeling sick afterwards! You know what that means... An excuse to eat the entire batch! Not really... But seriously, these are worth making. Whether for yourself, your family, or friends.

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp allspice

1/2 tsp salt

1/3 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup apple cider

1/4 cup apple sauce

1/2 cup Date Pecan

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a donut pan and set aside. Combine all the dry ingredients into a bowl. Whisk the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl. Combine the wet and dry together. Spoon into the donut pan, filling the molds until 3/4 full. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Top with DATE PECAN, and whatever else you'd like:).
